Building Procedure
The first step for building the prototype was expanding the plastic so that the charging block could fit correctly. After this, he melted the top of the plastic to structure create a spot for the charging block to sit. Then he needed to bend the brackets so that they could be applied to the plastic box. Bending the metal pieces was difficult and frustrating because of the strength of the metal, but eventually he was able to succeed. He then cut holes in the plastic with the solder for air flow as well as for the pieces to fit inside. The final result was functional but definitely not pleasing to the eye. The tools required were a little pricey, totaling about $55.00, however, the materials actually used in the product came to a total of $2.29. This means our profit per product will be great, so the tools will be paid off in no time. If done with a 3D printer, the product would look much better.
